Melissa Rodriguez
As Director of Operations, Melissa bring more than 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry. She oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations, manages workflow across the organization, and works closely with the advisory team to ensure clients receive a seamless, efficient, and exceptional experience.
Melissa plays a vital role in coordinating the many moving pieces behind the scenes that keep Riverpoint Wealth Management running smoothly. From overseeing operational processes and implementing firm initiatives to assisting clients with their needs. She is committed to delivering responsive, personalized support with attention to detail. Her goal is to create a streamlined, worry-free experience for every client while helping the firm operate at the highest level of service and efficiency.
Melissa resides in Lockport with her husband Ed and their three children Arianna (25), Noah (19), and Charlotte (14).

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the Clearing neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago with my parents, two sisters, and my brother. It is where I learned the importance of family, hard work, and community.
Tell us about your family.
My husband, Ed, and I have been happily married for 24 years and are proud parents of three wonderful children. Our oldest, Arianna, is 25 and works as a school social worker. Noah is 19 and studying Computer Science in college. Our youngest, Charlotte, is 14 and will be starting high school this fall. She is also a starting defender on her club soccer team, so much of our free time is spent cheering her on from the sidelines.
Where do you live?
I live in Lockport, in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. My family moved there in 2001, and in 2016 we built the home we still enjoy today.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, my favorite place to unwind is with a good book. I also enjoy taking walks, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on my daughter at her soccer games. After years of busy family schedules, I have learned to appreciate the simple moments together.
What is your favorite family vacation?
Disney World holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I were married in Disney, so every visit brings back wonderful memories while creating new ones with our children. There is something magical about seeing Disney through their eyes, no matter how old they are.
What do you enjoy most about the financial planning profession?
After more than 20 years in the financial services industry, the most rewarding part of my career is seeing clients reach milestones they have worked so hard to achieve. Whether it is retiring with confidence or achieving financial independence, it is incredibly fulfilling to witness the results of years of planning, discipline, and perseverance.
